A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR HARRY…
If you were not with us this past Sunday, I shared an update on our giving. At present, we are about $67,000 behind budget for this fiscal year (which began July 1). Each Thursday, Rafa, Lawrence, Mark, and I carefully review our church finances. Falling this far behind makes it difficult to both sustain current operations and invest in ministries moving forward.
Because of your faithful giving, staff salaries, ministry programs, and the day-to-day costs of our facility are primarily covered. In addition, our partnerships with 10Fitness, Divine Mercy Health Center, John Brown University, and Vine and Village are a tremendous blessing, as they largely cover our mortgage. Still, when we are this far behind, difficult decisions arise about which ministries and opportunities cannot move forward.
As you prayerfully consider your own giving, I want to encourage you in two ways:
- Consistency – Regular, faithful giving sustains the ministry we share together.
- Sacrifice – While we cannot all give the same amount, we can each give in a way that reflects equal sacrifice.
If you are able, would you consider giving extra in this season, or setting up a more consistent pattern of giving? Every gift matters. Together, our generosity fuels the mission God has entrusted to us.
This is our ministry. It belongs not to one individual, but to all of us as we steward God’s call at Mosaic. Thank you for your continued support, faithfulness, and shared commitment to the mission and vision the Lord has given us.
Much love to you all!
Harry
