About

Mosaic is...

…a multiethnic, economically diverse church established by men and women seeking to know God and to make Him known through the pursuit of unity in accordance with the prayer of Jesus Christ (John 17:20-23) and patterned after the New Testament church at Antioch (Acts 11:19-2613:1ff.).

Mosaic is not...

…a church focused on racial reconciliation. Rather, we are focused on reconciling men and women to God through faith in Jesus Christ and on reconciling ourselves to the principles and practices of first century churches: congregations of faith in which diverse men and women walked, worked, and worshipped God together as one for the sake of the gospel.

Mission

To know God and to make Him known through the pursuit of unity in accordance with the prayer of Jesus Christ (John 17:20-23) and patterned after the New Testament church at Antioch (Acts 11:19-2613:1).

Vision

To be a healthy multiethnic and economically diverse (Acts 11:19-26; 13:1), culturally intelligent, socially just (Micah 6:8; Matthew 23:23), and financially sustainable (Matthew 25:14-30) church offering hope for all, beyond the distinctions of this world that otherwise divide.

Developmental Strategy

  1. Walk together as one in Christ.
Live with and love one another. (Acts 2:42-47 and 2 Tim. 2:15Jn. 17:21-23 and Eph. 4:1-6)
  2. Work together as one in the Spirit.
Serve others and share the Gospel. (Gal. 5:13 and I Pet. 4:10Mt. 28:19, 20 and II Tim. 2:2)
  3. Worship the Father together as one.
Come and contribute before the Lord. (Acts 2:42-47 and Heb. 10:25; Mal. 3:8-12 and Mt. 23:23)

Expectations

Active members of Mosaic are committed to God and one another through consistent involvement in being:

  1. Relationally Connected
We gather for community worship every week, as well as small groups (Circles), in pursuit of truth, relationships, integrity and mission.
  2. Courageously Engaged
We’re committed to serve in areas of passion and gifting – in specific, recurring and essential roles impacting our church and community.
  3. Evangelistically Bold
We participate in the Great Commission through sharing the Gospel, inviting others to church, leading and serving in ministries for the sake of Christ within and outside the church.
  4. Sacrificially Generous
We give faithfully and sacrificially to support the General Fund, the Annual Fund (end of year giving), and special needs as requested from time to time.

Active members of Mosaic embrace the following values to find joy in life and service:

  1. People
We extend care, concern and compassion to all men and women without distinction.
  2. Passion
