SLIDING INTO HOME

$145,000 is all that is left after an $8M journey!

As part of this year's Christmas offering, we need only to receive $145,000 or so to reach the end of an incredible, miraculous, and faithful 18-year journey in pursuit of a dream. Click on one of the organe links below to contribute directly to a specific need.

  • $115,000 to pay off the last remaining constuction loan debt associated with projects over the past 18-months
  • $30,000 to payoff our remaining debt on the purchase of new chairs.

To understand more fully the significance of this moment and history of our journey, see the below graphic and timeline.

In 2006, we imagined that it would take $8M to get to where we are today in terms of building ownership and renovation... Generally speaking, that it would cost approximately $2M per base. At the time, we illustrated this in a graphic on a wall in the old Walmart building where we worshipped as a church from June 2003 through December 2015:

  • Buy (2006-2012)
    Home to 1st Base

    • Dec 2012, Mosaic purchases the building for $1.7M net after receiving a $300,000 donation at closing from its owner.
    • Having brought $600,000 cash to closing the church borrowed $1.1M to complete the purchase.
  • Improve (2014-2015)
    1st to 2nd base

    • God blessed us with 10 Fitness. The company invested $1.7M to improve their space and signed a 10-year lease with two 5-year options.
    • The investment raised the Appraised Value of the building to $3.9M.
  • Move (2015-2016)2nd base to3rd base
    • Mosaic leveraged the increased value of the property and borrowed some $1.8M to renovate approx. 35,000 sf for our own use and moved into the building (January 2016)
    • At the time, our debt on the building was approx. $2.9M
  • Complete (2023-2024)3rd base to Home (a completion of the original need & vision)
    • Anonymous Gifts (2): $900,000
    • Christmas (2023) & Easter Offering (2024): $425,000
    • Grant: $500,000
    • NEED TO FINISH: $115,000
